Troubleshooting

Find your symptom, check the likely cause, and follow the fix.

The page won’t open

Network issue, or the site/runtime files are blocked.
Check your connection, disable a blocking extension, or try another network/browser.

Launch gets stuck on loading

First-load decompression is heavy, or assets failed to download.
Wait a few seconds; if it stays stuck, clear cache from the launcher and reload.

Black or white screen

WebGL did not initialize, or the runtime crashed during boot.
Confirm WebGL on the Play page, update your browser/GPU drivers, then retry.

The game is very laggy

Render distance too high, other heavy tabs, or a weak device.
Lower render distance, disable shaders, and close other tabs.

Cannot join a server

Wrong WSS address, server offline, version mismatch, or insecure ws:// on an https page.
Double-check the address (use wss://), confirm the server is up and 1.8-compatible.

Keyboard / mouse not responding

The game canvas does not have focus, or pointer lock was denied.
Click into the game once, then allow pointer lock when prompted.

Mobile controls behave oddly

Touch mode needs a recent browser; small portrait screens are cramped.
Use the latest mobile browser and rotate to landscape.

How to clear the browser cache

  1. 1
    Try the launcher first
Use “Clear cache” in the launcher top bar — it keeps your saved worlds.
  2. 2
    Hard reload
Reload the page bypassing cache (Shift/Cmd reload).
  3. 3
    Site data (last resort)
Clearing site data resets everything but deletes saved worlds — export first.
