Getting Started
Open the browser, pick a world, and start playing. Here is what to expect on your first launch.
What TabWorld is
TabWorld is a browser-first launcher and play hub for block worlds. It loads a game runtime (1.8.8) directly in your browser tab, then gives you a clean way to manage servers, profiles, and docs around it.
TabWorld is the launcher; the game runs entirely on your device.
What you need
- A modern desktop or mobile browser.
- WebGL and WebAssembly support (the Play page checks this for you).
- A keyboard and mouse for the best desktop experience.
Recommended browsers
Latest Chrome, Edge, or Safari work best. Firefox works too. On mobile, use the latest browser and play in landscape.

Nicknames and config
Your in-game name, controls, and graphics are managed inside the game (Options and Edit Profile). TabWorld stores its own preferences — like your server list — in your browser.
Common first-launch issues
If you see a white screen, give the first decompression a few seconds. If the game never appears, your browser may lack WebGL/WebAssembly — check the Play page and try a recommended browser.
